-Is your store just for runners?
No way!! We help MANY customers find shoes for walking, working, working out, help with foot issues, etc. If you need a comfortable pair of athletic shoes, you’re in the right place!
-How do I know which shoes are right for me?
That’s what we’re here for! Our staff will guide you through the process: we’ll perform a gait analysis along with asking about your injury history, what activities you’re looking to perform in the shoes, and any other important factors you’re looking for in a shoe. We’ll then pull out several pairs we think might be a good fit. After that, we can then pull out any additional shoes based on your feedback till we find the perfect shoe for you!
-Will it cost me more to shop at a small business like GBM Running Co.?
Nope! The prices of current shoe models are set by the brands, so it will cost you the same to shop small/locally. We appreciate you supporting our small business!
-Do you have sales/clearance?
Because we are required to sell shoes at the prices the individual brands set, shoes typically only go on sale when a new model is released, and the older model will then be on clearance. If you’re specifically interested in seeing older clearance models, let us know! We also offer discounts on full-price items for veterans, healthcare workers, students, etc.
-What is your return policy?
We want you to be in the best shoes for you, so we have a 14-day return policy. If you realize the shoes you bought just aren’t right, feel free to bring them back within 14 days of purchase (yes, even if you’ve worn them outside!). Sometimes you just don’t know whether or not a pair will work until you go for a few runs or wear them to work–we get it.
-Which brands do you carry?
We carry Brooks, Hoka, On, Saucony, Asics, Mizuno, and New Balance running and walking shoes.
-What if you don’t have the size/color I want?
We do our best to stock a full range of sizes (including wide widths) in-store, but in the case we don’t have the size or color you’re after, we can order it in for you!
-Do you ship shoes?
Yes! We can ship shoes (or accessories) anywhere in the continental U.S. Check out our online store or give us a call to order.
-Do you have shoes that can help with plantar fasciitis or other foot issues?
We do! Many customers come to us for shoes to help relieve their plantar fasciitis symptoms, as well as pain from other foot issues (plantar fasciitis is just the most common issue we see!).
-What items do you carry?
We carry running and walking shoes, trail shoes, insoles, socks, compression socks/sleeves, injury braces/supports, recovery sandals, apparel, hydration vests/belts, foam rollers/massage devices, gear for running in the dark/cold, running nutrition, and more!
-How long will my shoes last?
There are many factors that contribute to how long a shoe will last (like how often you wear them, what activities you wear them for, etc.), but running/walking shoes typically last for around 300-500 miles of wear, which for most people is around 6 months to a year of regular use.
